Dear Registrants,
Please see the below communication from Interior Health. Please note that this communication only applies to Naturopathic Doctors offering front line care in the Interior Health region:
Dear Community Health Care Provider,
As you are aware, B.C. is moving forward with Phase 2 of the provincial COVID-19 Immunization Plan. Health- care workers who interact with patients and clients and who work in patient or client care settings are among those now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
You are receiving this notification because you have been identified as an eligible health-care worker. Please do not forward this notification to others at this time.
If you would like to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, you can register for your appointment on or after March 12, 2021 online at ihvaccinations.myhealthinfo.ca. Booking site is optimized for Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge browsers. You will need your Personal Health Number (PHN). Please also bring identification with you to your appointment.
Information about the COVID-19 vaccines, such as who should get a vaccine, how they are given and what to expect after receiving the vaccine, can be found at HealthLink BC. The COVID-19 vaccines that have been approved by Health Canada are safe, effective and save lives. When you get immunized, you help protect others through community immunity, including those who are unable to get the vaccine.
Please note: Everyone must continue to follow Provincial Health Officer orders and guidelines and continue to practice COVID-19 safety behaviours even after receiving vaccine.
