Registration Renewal

Every year, registrants must renew their registration and any certifications they wish to maintain by the registration renewal deadline. 

The 2024 registration renewal closed on Dec 31, 2023 at 4:30 PM PST. 

Please check back in the fall of 2024 for information about the 2025 registration renewal. In the meantime, you can ensure that the following is up to date to ensure a smooth renewal process:

  • Current contact information. You can update this information directly on ROSS > “Personal Contact Information” tab.
  • Current place of practice information. You can update this information directly on ROSS > “Places of Practice” tab. If you are unable to find your place of practice in the drop-down menu under this tab, please click on the “Forms & Resources” tab > “Registration” and download the “Place of Practice Information” form. The completed form must be emailed to [email protected] 
  • Current Health Profession Corporation (HPC) information, if applicable. To update you HPC information on file, please email [email protected] 
  • Valid criminal record check (CRC). You can check the expiry date of your current CRC on ROSS > “Criminal Records” tab. 
  • Valid insurance policy compliant with section 99 (and section 92 for those with a registered HPC) of CNPBC Bylaws. The policy must be uploaded on ROSS > “Professional Liability Insurance” tab. 
  • Continuing education (CE) requirements. The current CE period ends on Dec 31, 2025. You can update your CE directly on ROSS > “Continuing education (CE)” tab > “Activities”.  
  • Self and peer review requirements must be completed by the end of the CE period on Dec 31, 2025.
  • Valid life support training certificates. You can upload your certificates on ROSS > “Qualifications” tab. While you might upload them under the “Continuing education (CE)” tab to claim CE hours, it is important to also upload them under the “Qualifications” tab.
  • Valid PharmaNet access evidence (for registrants holding Prescriptive Authority Certification only). You can upload your evidence on ROSS > “Qualifications” tab.
