Duty to Report
If you have a good reason to believe the public is in danger because a regulated health practitioner in BC is incompetent, suffering from a physical or mental ailment or an emotional disturbance, or impaired by an addiction to alcohol or drugs, you have a duty to report that practitioner to his or her College under the Health Professions Act R.S.B.C. 1996 c. 163.
If you are unsure whether a report should be made, contact the College of the health professional about whom you have concerns.
